In the modern world, one out of four people suffer from extreme fatigue. People who are plagued by it try to fight this sense of fatigue by doing several things which include drinking more coffee, taking energy drinks, sleep more, taking energy pills and other types of stimulants. Then again, it is these said things that actually ruins your chances of ultimately curing your condition and you will find that out in the long run. Why and how you might ask? Well, let us try to take a closer look at the negative effects you can get out of these so-called remedies.
First in line is coffee. You see, coffee is simply a stimulant. Yes, it will help you get that instant energy boost, but it will only work on a temporary basis. After the caffeine loses its effect on you, you will feel even more tired as you were before. This is possible because it causes vitamin D and iron deficiency and the lack of these essential elements are the main causes of extreme tiredness.
Second is energy drinks. These beverages are great energy enhancers, but more often than not, they contain loads of caffeine in them, so just like coffee, you will feel far worst after that short buzz.
Next is sleeping more. People who suffer from excessive tiredness are prone to this misconception. You see, when you sleep for ten or more hours, you are more likely to feel groggy the instance you wake up. It really does not matter how long it is that you sleep. It is more of the quality than the quantity. This explains why some people who only get 3 to 4 hours of snooze time are so full of life and energy.
Lastly, you have pills and other stimulants. Well, like what was discussed earlier, stimulants can leave a nasty effect on your body. Pushing your body to the limits with consistent use of these stimulants can result to burnout and as a result, you end up even more tired in the process.
