Detox foot pads adhere to the bottoms of your feet. They are rectangular-shaped adhesive patches that are said to work with reflexology points found in the soles of your feet.
Theoretically, when they are worn overnight while you sleep, the next morning toxins will have been drawn from your system. The pads will appear with a sticky black residue that is said to be the drawn toxins.
There are critics that claim there is a substance contained on the pads that reacts with the sweat excreted by your feet. This reaction, critics say, causes the black sticky residue to appear.
However, there thousands of satisfied detox foot pad users – folks who use them regularly and stand by their benefits. Asian countries have made them hugely popular. Advocates of these pads have noted an increase in stamina and improvements to overall health.
We are bombarded with toxins in our environment daily. Our bodies detoxify constantly through automatic processes such as defecation, sweating and exhalation. If these harmless foot pads can aid with these processes, why not give them a try?
Detox foot pads are not dangerous as they are derived from all natural ingredients. There is nothing to swallow or take internally and the ingredients in the pads are not secreted into the bloodstream. They are inexpensive and simple to use. Simply lay them on the arch of each of your feet and keep them on while you sleep.
When you awake, remove them and take a look at the residue they leave behind. If you are an advocate of detox foot pads, you will be convinced that toxins have been drawn out of your body and you may feel energized.
If you are curious about detox foot pads, give them a try. You have nothing to lose and may have effective detoxification and improved health to gain!

Some critics think that sweat causes the interaction/ goo from the foot pads. Well, even placing the foot pads under tap water it will make them turn dark. But if you compare a gooey pad from your foot, to the pad you ran tap water over, there is a big difference. The goo from your foot (from toxins in your lymph system) is a LOT thicker. It may change color depending on the area of your body you are focusing on via reflexology points on your foot. The goo from the "tap water" is a lot thinner, and won't change color day after day.
Just like a tea bag filled with herbs… it darkens when exposed to water or fluids. Why would the herbs contained in the pad be any different?
