Candida or Candida albicans is a microscopic fungi that is found in your intestines, genital track and throat.
By itself, it isn’t harmful. However, many adults suffer from a candida yeast overgrowth. The beneficial bacteria in their bodies have been overrun by candida yeast.
An overgrowth of candida yeast in the intestines is said to be responsible for many conditions. Pregnancy
Pregnancy can lead to a yeast overgrowth in the body because of your increased levels of estrogen. The increase of estrogen causes you vagina to produce more glycogen. This makes it easier for candida to grow.
Unhealthy Diet
A high sugar diet is another common cause of candida overgrowth. In addition refined flours and bad fats trigger candida growth

Heavy Metal toxicity can come from everything from led paint in old buildings and toys, to mercury in fish. One of the most common culprits is dental work.
How to Do a Candida Cleanse
Start with a Colon Cleanse
Most all experts agree that any cleansing process should start with a colon cleanse. It makes sense, because if your colon is clogged it is difficult for any other treatment to absorb.
Depending on how clogged your colon is, you should count on spending up to three months doing a colon cleanse.
Anti-Fungal Supplements
When you have completed your colon cleanse, you should take an anti-fungal for up to two weeks. You can try oregano oil, caprylic acid or Threelac.
Probiotic
After you have completed your two weeks with an anti-fungal supplement, it is a good idea to begin taking a probiotic. This will add back beneficial bacteria to your intestines.
It is a good idea to consider following a candida yeast diet to prevent future overgrowth. At a minimum, you should consider following a high fiber died and taking a Psyllium Husk product daily.
