eczema eye

Have you become increasingly sensitive to eczema and other skin problems? Does it seem like your old eczema skin care regiment does not offer you the same results as it used to?

You want to think that healthy and beauty product companies are looking out for you. Unfortunately, they are only looking out for their bottom dollar. While governments do regulate them, most of the time a problem is discovered too late.

For example, eczema on eyelids is a very common occurrence due to the unfortunate combination of health and beauty products. Many people use moisturizers and anti-wrinkle creams in their eye areas. Many of these same people also use hand sanitizer to protect themselves from the latest bug going around.

Each of those products may seem harmless. However, if they happen to combine they can cause eyelid and general facial eczema. You may think these two items would never combine in your facial area, but they probably are. You would be surprised how much you unintentionally touch your eyes and face throughout the day.

It is also easy to misuse products. Companies do not test products for their effects if misused. However, it can be very easy to inaccurately apply the wrong dose of your wrinkle cream or use a facial cleanser too often.

If your products that always treated your eczema have stopped working, you can probably blame the manufacturer for that as well. Once companies know that they are producing a popular product with a devoted following, there is a trend to start cutting costs in order to raise profits. Unfortunately, this means reducing the quality ingredients and replacing them with fillers that may actually harm your eczema.

If you are worried about how your skin care products are affecting your eczema, it is time to do research. Look at the ingredients and see if you notice any blatant changes. If not, start researching the ingredients and see if there are any that stand out as known eczema triggers.

Never assume that the products you are using are safe or can be safely combined with other products. You are the best advocate you have to cure and prevent your eczema.
