Types of Juicer Recipes

by Claire Addison

There are more types of juicer recipes than you might imagine. Typical recipes can be simple and the most common ingredients are oranges, grapefruits, grapes, lemons and other citrus fruits as well as berries and apples. These are common fruits that most people are aware of but it is also a good idea to change up your recipes once you have established that you are comfortable juicing on a regular basis. A good way of pushing outside your bounds is by taking notice of the different items in the produce section on your next visit to the supermarket. If there are any items that you have never tried before and usually just ignore, it might be a good time to give them a try. Expanding your boundaries is never a bad thing.

After you have juiced your fruits or vegetables, most people will simply throw away the pulp. But consider some juicer pulp recipes which are not really juicer recipes since they are just creative ways of using the remaining pulp. Most people discard this part of the fruit after juicing but it is actually very high in fiber and other nutritional value and is perfectly edible. There are mock tuna salads using leftover pulp which is a great recipe especially for those who do not eat meat.

Some recipes have labels over them to help explain what their purposes are. Of course nothing is standard and some people don’t even call the ingredients by the same names. Nonetheless, many recipes are categorized by their ingredients which combine to provide potent solutions to combat certain things. An example of that are some recipes that have the nutritional contents that make them good for hangovers. Some would refer to these recipes as good juicer recipes for hangovers. Others contain natural sugars and other ingredients to help soothe and calm the nerves in the morning which many will refer to as breakfast recipes. The names are arbitrary but the benefits are not.
