If you are a mom like me, you know that giving your children the best is a priority. I can’t tell you how many nights I’ve laid awake worrying about the smallest details. Are they getting too many toxins from their clothes? Did Grandma give them something loaded with high-fructose corn syrup?
I know I should not worry quite so much – but the reality is that most of our children DO get too many toxins. In my opinion, it is our jobs as parents to protect them as much as we can even if it is not always fun. (Sorry Grandma!)
That is why organic cloth diapers seem like such a no brainier to me. I have to be honest though – I did not use organic cotton cloth diapers for my boys. At the time, I was only just beginning my organic journey and I didn’t understand how toxins and pesticides could leach into my boys bloodstreams. (Yes, I worry about this too)
I wish I had known that the clean up of cloth organic diapers does not have to be as bad as you would imagine.
