If you have ever stayed up late and ended up watching the infomercials, most of them were probably about brand new weight loss products that promise to change your life…the Ab-This, and the Bow-That, and they can be really convincing making you want to by those products. In order to exercise, you really don’t need any of those products, and you don’t even need a gym pass. You’re able to get your cardio and your resistance training all without needing a single product. Cardio won’t really help you to lose weight fast because your body will become more adept at doing the exercise, so it will burn less calories. But, cardio is a good warm up and all you need to do is go for a small little run as a warm up. If you can find some stairs, going up and down the stairs about 10-15 times in a row is a fantastic workout.
As far as resistance training, your body can provide great resistance, by doing exercises that are probably already familiar to you. Push ups use your own body weight to provide resistance, and are a fantastic workout for your upper body muscles like your biceps and pectoral muscles. Crunches and sit ups are great for abdominal exercises, and lunges and squats are great for your lower body. Jumping jacks are a great cardio exercise mid-workout to get the juices flowing again.
In addition to exercise, what you eat is important. Instead of going for the unnatural and unhealthy fast food, choose to eat more vegetables and more fruits. These are not only natural sources of vitamins, but they are also great and filling foods, that have very little calories in them. if you choose leaner meats, they are probably from animals that have been raised in a more natural way than other types of meats. Eating more fiber from grains and other natural products help your digestive system to function better.
